She is survived by: her children, Karl Guidry of Carencro and Tina Guidry Blanchard (Barry) of Scott; her grandchildren, Amy Verret, Allison Guidry, Ashley Prejean, Josh Guidry, Michelle Stelly and Keith Blanchard; her siblings, Norma Bearb of Lafayette, Dianne Credeur (Elwood) of Carencro, Connie Prudhomme (Brent) of Port Barre, Faye Thompson (Harold) of The Woodlands, TX, Janell Carrier of Church Point, Mamie Benoit of Lafayette, Rosa Pitre (Richard) of Baton Rouge, Raphael Elkins (Terry) of Church Point, Dale Lavergne of Church Point, Clyde Lavergne (Barbara) of Carencro and Norris Lavergne (Carol) of Baton Rouge; her parents, Eby Elkins and Thelma Andrepont Elkins; her son Randy James Guidry; and her brother Joseph Glenn Lavergne. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
With regards to the most recent mandates of the current pandemic, social distancing and masks are required for all gatherings in the funeral home and in the cemetery.
