With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Jean Leblanc of Acadiana, Louisiana, born in Sunset, Louisiana, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guilbert Meche and Rose Ella Comeaux Meche; and her siblings, Anna Carrier, Dudley Meche, Elric J. Meche, Ezor Potier, Fred Meche, Jim Meche, Kermit Meche, Mary Haliburten, Nell Leblanc, Thelma Grossie and Zulma Mott.
She is survived by: her daughter Ada Alane Oquain; her grandchildren, Bud Darnell, Jr., Joey Gotro and Derrick Gotro; and her great grandchildren, Piper Alidad Gotro and Asher I Am Gotro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
