She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Kane; and her parents, Thomas William and Evelyn June Anderson Stringfellow. She is survived by: her daughters, Donetta Kane Lewis (Michael) of Lafayette and Kandy Kane Kovacs of Lafayette; her sisters, Kitty Stringfellow Osborne (Jamie) of Alice, TX and Sherril Stringfellow of Houston, TX; her granddaughters, Amber Arbsland and Kelsey Leyva; and her great grandchild Naomi Grace Ashford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
DesOrmeaux Foundation was blessed to have her working as a "House Mom" in the Charity Shop where she touched the lives of the residents by building beautiful relationships with those who had the pleasure of meeting her.
