He was predeceased by: his parents, Morrington Joseph and Versie Marie Benoit Artigue; the mother of his children Mary Earline Bearb; his stepson Christopher Landry; his sons-in-law, Christopher R. Johnson and Robert Earl Armentor; his brothers, Fred Lee Artigue and Raymond Artigue; and his brother-in-law Roland Fontenot.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann Hollier Artigue of Lafayette; his children, Paul Howard Artigue (Karen) of The Woodlands, TX, Debbie Kay Daigle Johnson of Lafayette and Stephanie M. Armentor of Lafayette; his stepchildren, George Bobby Landry (Lisa) of Lafayette, Monique Landry of Maurice and Phyllis Varley of Destin, FL; his grandchildren, Jake Howard Artigue, Jeremy Daigle, Amanda Adams, Ariel Johnson, Nicholas Armentor, Kaleigh Louvierre, Kristi Simon, Courtney Deshotel and Brittany Reed; and his siblings, William Dale Artigue (Terry Lynn) of Port Barre, Verna Fontenot of Plaisance and Laura Albrecht (Frank) of Port Barre. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
