He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Jones Cockrell (Brent) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Paul Cockrell and Leah Landers (Shane) of Lafayette; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Paul Cockrell and Juliet Landers.
