He was predeceased by: his parents, Morey A. Winston, Sr. and Stella Fabre Winston; his son Harold Winston, Jr.; his grandson Kyle Winston; and his siblings, Morey, Jr., Howard, Leroy Winston, Lorraine Guilbeau and Florence Thibodeaux.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Arceneaux Winston of Lafayette; his children, Vickie Opper (Philip), Pamela Lyons (Kurt) and Karl Winston (Vicki); and his daughter-in-law Monica Ryan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
