He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph Roane Jr. and Marion Gonzales Roane; and his grandson Quint Roane. He is survived by: his wife Janice Judice Roane of Lafayette; his sons, George Joseph Roane IV (Cheri) of Lafayette and Ripley Patrick Roane Sr. (Traci) of Metairie; his grandchildren, Josie Roane, Julian Roane, Marion Roane, Ripley Patrick Roane Jr. (Emma) and Jack Roane; and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Adriel Roane. He is also survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
