He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Joseph Berard and Theresa Serrette Berard; and his siblings, Jerry "Doggay" Berard, Antoine Berard, George Berard and Louella Babineaux.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Berard (Billie) of Breaux Bridge, John Berard (Rona) of Walker and Linda Louise Berard Pontiff of Breaux Bridge; and his sister-in-law Barbara Berard of Breaux Bridge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
