It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Markerson Lemoine of Acadiana, Louisiana, born in Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Jospeh and Rowena Eve Sauce Cole; and her sister Gayle Millet. She is survived by: her husband Larry Wayne Lemoine of Lafayette; her children, Chad C. Markerson (Donna) of Breaux Bridge, LA, Jeremy C. Markerson (Simone) of Scott, LA, Crystal Lemoine Eudy, Jennifer Lemoine Boykin (Brian) of Mire, LA, Jillian Lemoine Fusilier of Clayton, NC and Andrea Lemoine Abshire of Carencro, LA; and her siblings, James Cole (Denise) of Youngsville, LA, Brenda Fakier (Norman) of Lafayette, LA and Laura Whitehurst (Chris) of Hineston, LA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends.
