He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Herring and Joycelyn Aube Herring; his children, Jeffery and Jennifer Herring; and his siblings-in-law, Nolan "Black" and Verna Picard.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Picard Herring; his stepson Ryan Broussard (Katie); his grandchildren, Shelby Broussard, Amelia Broussard, Blake Herring and Jonte Herring; his great grandchildren, Jace, Jacob and Aubrey Herring; and his sisters, Julie Grosshuesch and Laura Sanders. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
