It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Jo Stamper Cefalu of Abita Springs, Louisiana, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sarah Jo Stamper leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She is survived by: her sons, Jason Michael Matherne and Roman Anthony Matherne; her parents, Daniel J. Cefalu, Jr. and Janda Stringer Cefalu; her brother Daniel Joseph Cefalu III; and her grandparents, Bobby Joe Stringer (Peggy) of Birmingham, AL and Roma Perdue of Mandeville, LA..
