He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Garza Hanrahan; his parents, John Hanrahan and Esther Hanrahan; his sister Jacqueline Hemelt; and his brother-in-law John C. Garza, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Marie Hanna (Stephen) and Brenda Ann Lanaux (Mike); his grandchildren, Michael Lanaux, Nathan Lanaux, Matthew Hanna, Andrew Hanna and Kathryn Hanna; his sisters, Barbara Pitre and Edith Dufrechou; and his brother-in-law Anthony P. Garza. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
