He was predeceased by: his parents, Lecia Bienville Sharpe and Laura Celestine "Tina" Williams; and his wife Judith Ann Barbour Sharpe. He is survived by: his children, Michael Sharpe, Joseph Sharpe (Christine), Joshua Sharpe (Rachel), Mary Sharpe Goss (Clint) and Elizabeth Sharpe Gomes; and his grandchildren, Timothy, Christine Gomes (D. J.), Clare, Annie, Peter, Lucy Goss, Ryder, Bayla, Zayn and Wesley Sharpe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church (72040 Maple St, Abita Springs, LA 70420). A rosary was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Galloway Cemetery William Galloway Cemetery (83136 Williams Galloway Cemetery Rd, Bush, LA 70431).
