With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Margaret Ellison of Abita Springs, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 24, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Dussor and Lillian Schwankhart Dussor; and her husband Paul Edward Ellison, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Linda (John), Faith, Paul Jr. (Sandra), Brian Sr. (Cheryl) and Wade (Ashlee); and her brothers, Henry Dussor and Joseph Dussor. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
