He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Albert Looney and Helen Holland Looney; and his brothers, Tom Looney and Joe Looney. He is survived by: his wife Linda Nelson Looney of Abita Springs; his children, James Looney Jr. of Houston, Stephen Looney of Austin, Billy Sussky of Covington, Matthew Sussky of Covington, Anne Thibodeaux (Shane) of Nederland and Jennifer Delatte of Covington; and his brother Tim Looney (Barbara) of Dallas. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren.
