He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Stanton Peters, Sr. and Florence Happich Peters; and his siblings, Gerald Peters, Raymond Peters, Bernard Peters, Barbara Ann Peters, Connie Peters Mailhos, Marion Peters and Carol Ann Peters Darbonne.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Goldate Peters; his children, Eric Stanton Peters (Tracy Peters) and Keri Peters Truitt (Trey Truitt); his granddaughter Averi Grace Truitt; and his siblings, Rosalie Peters Phillips, Sr. and Harold Peters (Carol Peters). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
