He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmick "Mickey" Bodin and Jeanette Cornor; his granddaughters, Jordan Bodin and Eden Bodin; his siblings, Arnette Bodin and Sheryl Peltier; and his father-in-law John Carroll Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Tonya Stevens Bodin; his sons, Destry John Bodin (Marie) and Tristen Joseph Bodin; his granddaughter Saylor Marie Bodin; his mother-in-law Cynthia Duhon Stevens; his siblings, Karl Bodin (Nancy), Monica Hebert (Chris), Amy White (Randal), Arnelle Bodin, Shontell Peltier Hebert and Tina Peltier Trahan; his stepmother Lois Peltier Bodin; and his grandchildren, Connor Zuniga and Avery Zuniga. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, and his work family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 6:30 PM. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Abshire Cemetery.
