He is survived by: his wife Ruby Meaux Cole; his daughters, Michelle Cole of LaPlace and Dr. Natasha "René" Cole-Leonard (Joe Leonard) of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Cole Leonard, Nicholas Ellis and Riley Ellis; and his aunts, Vivian Alsop of Los Angeles, CA and Shirley Briggs (Leroy) of Abbeville. He is also survived by his family, friends.
