She was predeceased by: her husband Dudley Duhon, Sr.; her parents, Avery Abshire and Loula Mae Hollier; her siblings, Edward "Bujune" Abshire and Verna Key; and her son-in-law Cordell S. Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, John Dudley "D. J." Duhon, Jr. (Michelle), Nancy L. Bertrand (Scott), Catrina L. Duhon and Antionette E. Campbell; and her siblings, Ervin Abshire, Earline Trahan and Myrtis LeBlanc. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:45 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 6:30 PM. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville On (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.
