He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stevens and Elzedia Hebert Stevens; and his brother Robert Lee Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Dailey of Kaplan; his daughter Lori A. Stevens (Alvin McNabb) of Conroe, Texas; his stepson Jim (Lauren) of Baton Rouge; his siblings, Joyce Foreman of Abbeville and Howard Stevens of Kaplan; and his grandsons, Ross LaPoint (Isabella), Maxwell, Elijah and Benjamin Stevens.
