She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Abshire; and her parents, Peterman Bourque and Nita Mary Boutte. She is survived by: her children, Shawn Broussard (CeCe) of Katy, TX, Brett Doucet (Elizabeth) of Ville Platte and Tara Broussard (John) of Maurice; her grandchildren, Hayden Guillory, Aida (Johnson), Gaige Barrilleaux, Anna Barrilleaux, Ellie Doucet, Millie Doucet and Baylor Doucet; and her sisters, Judith Broussard (Dudley), Carliss Sellers (Nolan), Paulette McCloskey and Becky Andrus (John).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home – Abbeville (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
