He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold "Red" Denby and Elsie Whiddon Denby; his daughter Pamela Trahan McDaniel; his son-in-law Cliford Trahan; his son Zachari Denby; his sister Linda Chapman; and his granddaughter Chasity Monceaux.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Denby; his children, Michal Pete, Kathryn Denby and Tony Denby; his siblings, Mary Beane, Patty Drake, Glenda McCarthy, Mary Lawson, Martha Berry, Glen Whiddon and Michael Denby; and his grandchildren, Courtney Denby, Derek Denby, Jaeka Lange, Trey Denby, Shayla Arnold and Mikayla Arnold. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Old Cypress Cemetery.
