She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Vaughan and Eva Hardin Vaughan; her husband Otis Richard; and her siblings, Rufus Vaughan, Wilfred Vaughan, Alberta Lou Vaughan, Melva Dummitt and Wilda Mae Romero.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte R. Hebert (John Hebert, Jr.) of Youngsville, Jackie R. Klein (Greg) of Lafayette, Neal Richard (Kelly) of Abbeville and Felecia R. Bonin (Jerod) of Jennings; her sisters, Adelena Sharpton, Alma Minzenmayer and Velta Baxley; and her sister-in-law Joyce Richard. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville On (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510).
