He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Raney and Mae Coleman Raney. He is survived by: his siblings, Beverly Blair (Winford) of Columbia, Lisa Fisher (T. Y.) of Danville, Tammy Dunn (Steve) of Lexington and Brent Raney (Melody) of Nancy. He is also survived by five nephews, four nieces, eight great-nieces, five great-nephews, and one great-great nephew.
