He is survived by: his siblings, Sandy "Jamie" Whitaker of Drakesboro, Charlotte Gail Whitaker of Drakesboro, Wendell Whitaker, Jr. of Pikeville and Bruce Douglas Whitaker of Pikeville; his nieces, Sandra Whitaker, Bethany Eaves, Lois Burch and Loretha Ann Evans; and his nephew Douglas Bruce Whitaker.
