He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Russell and Martha Frances Ratliff Snell; his siblings, Sarah Susan Schneider, Ray Snell, Lucy Mae Sears, Elmer Lee Snell, Glenn Kay Snell, Clell C. Snell, Robert Ellis Snell (Bobby) and William Russell Snell (Billy); and his son Leonard Keith Snell.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Jeanette Snell (Hines); his daughters, Vera Lynn King (Jeff) and Valerie Kay Winn (Rick); his grandsons, Benjamin David King, Bradley Ray King, Richard David Winn (Kayla) and Robert Daniel Winn (Katie); and his brother Charles Richard Snell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US Hwy 27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
