She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Pennington and Nancy Miniard Pennington; and her siblings, Carl Pennington, Ann Hendrix and James Pennington.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Gilbert (Greg), Rick Hendrix (Malissa) and Randall Hendrix (Julie); her siblings, Ray Pennington, John Pennington of Peru, IN., Junior Pennington of Peru, IN., Elizabeth Petrey of Peru, IN. and Mallie Haynes of Hazard, KY.; her grandchildren, Austin Hendrix, Carlea, Jordan Hendrix, Kailynn, Terry Hendrix, Anna, Kortney Hendrix, Caden Gilbert and Kennedy Hendren; her great grandchild Adalyn Hendrix; and her nieces, Phylliss Coots, Misty Harris and Joyce Lewis.
