It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Smith (Wurtland, Kentucky), born in Harrison, Arkansas, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Elza Murphy; and her siblings, James Elza Murphy and Betty Ann Ernst. She is survived by: her daughters, Dena Thornton (Jim) of Wurtland, Diana Gullett (Lin) of Mead and Dawn Smith of Louisville; and her sisters, Patsy Shepherd of Seneca and Lucy Hardin (David) of Aurora, KY.. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
