Larry Dale Braden Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, at the age of 84, Larry Dale Braden of Wurtland, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Braden and Velma Johnson Braden; and his sister Joyce Braden Ward. He is survived by: his wife Louise Botts of Denniston; his children, Shawn Braden (Kathy), Teresa Braden Salyers (Steve), Shayla Braden Hicks (Jack) and Andrea Braden Burns (Jason); his grandchildren, Zachary Braden, Tiffany Kitchen, Shawna Geyer, Savannah Braden, Jordan Salyers, Emily Adkins, Britton Huffman, Bradley Huffman, Braden Burns and Reagan Burns; and his great grandchildren, Aubree, Connor Braden, Archer, Avery Adkins, Charlie and Ryan Lewis.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home (1017 E Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A masonic service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
If friends and family would so desire, contributions may be made to the GOTEM Scholarship fund in memory of Larry Braden, as this was very near to his heart.
