He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis F. Jones and Annie B. Steen Jones. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lousie Adkins Jones; his daughter Rachel Ann Elizabeth Woods (James) of Clover, SC; and his siblings, Ervin Holmes Jones and Betty Lou Sigmon. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
