He is survived by: his children, Brent Allen Shields of Ashland, Kentucky and Angela Renee Shields of Wurtland; and his brothers, William Estral Shields of Woodville and Don D Shields of Tallahassee, Florida..
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carman Funeral Home (2301 Argillite Rd, Flatwoods, KY 41139). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
