She was predeceased by: her parents, Gayle Lusby and Nannie Belle Blackburn Lusby; her husband Ronald L. Chappell; her son Darryll Chappell; and her brother Doug Lusby.
She is survived by: her sibling Creek; her son Dwayne Chappell (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Brandon Chappell (Leslie), Emilee Chapell, Connie Britton (Dakota), Brittany Davenport (Devin) and J. D. Chappell (Libby); her great grandchildren, Paxton, Carter, Cullen, Cohen, Gabriel, Blake, JuCole, Jayda, Houston, Case, Remi, Steve and Liliana; her siblings, Shelby Judd and Bobby Lusby; and her daughter-in-law Carrie Shipley.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Funeral Homes (202 N Main, Owenton, KY 40359). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Salem Baptist Church or Dallasburg Baptist Church.
