He was predeceased by: his brothers, Thomas, Dale and Woodrow Shepherd; and his former wife Cinda Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Kilburn Shepherd; his stepsons, Dustin Kilburn of Wooton, KY and Frankie Simpson; and his brother Sheldon "J. R.".
