He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Winston and Mary Ellen Whittlesey (Foster); his former wife Sandra Kae Whittlesey (Stayer); and his wife Mary Ann Coles. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Whittlesey, Sr. (Gina), Brandon Whittlesey (Alicia) and Tammy Bell (Tim); his brother Bob Whittlesey (Joyce); and his pet Angel. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
