He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Winston and Mary Ellen Whittlesey (Foster); his former wife Sandra Kaye Whittlesey (Stayer); and his wife Mary Ann Coles. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Whittlesey, Sr. (Gina), Brandon Whittlesey (Alisha) and Tammy Bell (Tim); his brother Bob Whittlesey (Joyce); and his pet Angel. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel (213 Spring St, Auburn, KY 42206). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Auburn Cemetery.
The family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
