He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie McGuire and Arnettie Reneau McGuire; his son Darren McGuire; his stepdaughter Linda Clement; his brothers, Bennie Rex McGuire and Harold McGuire; and his wife Alma Hundley McGuire.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Gupton (Randy Hatcher), Michael McGuire (Heidi) and Corey McGuire (Angie); his stepdaughters, Kathy Moss and Brenda Mosley; and his sister Martha Raymer. He is also survived by three grandchildren; one great grandchild; three step grandchildren.
