Janie Marie Grubb Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janie Marie Grubb of Woodbine, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brumley and Nettie Smith Brumley; her husband Johnny Grubb; her siblings, Betty Jean Brumley, Homer Brumley, Abraham Brumley and James Smith; and her stepbrother Wayne Brumley.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Grubb, Jr., Eva Grubb, Troy Grubb and Adam Grubb; and her siblings, Michael Brumley, Phil Brumley, Mary Harrell, Bammer Lay, Rita Branham and Sharon Flannelly. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
