He was predeceased by: his father William Barnett; and his brother Tom Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Barnett; his mother Dorothy Johnson Barnett; his sons, Michael Barnett (Heather), Bret Barnett (Christi), Josh Barnett and Nick Barnett; his grandchildren, Jaylea, Julie, Joseph, Brittany, Bret, Brandy, Blake, Angel and Cheyenne; and his siblings, Dave Barnett, Doug Barnett and Gail Cook.
