He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Blakeman and Elsie Davis Trimble; and his brother-in-law Webb Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Elma Faye Vanover Blakeman; his children, Brian D. Blakeman, Sharlena Faye Vick (Johnny) of Breathitt County and Shirley Lee Hall (Willie) of Hamilton, Ohio; and his siblings, Roy Blakeman (Samantha), Mark Blakeman (Mary) and Sherry Fitzpatrick of Hager Hill. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
