She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Sanderson; her parents, Benjamin Kennemore and Emma Kennemore (McKinney); her grandson Dathol Lancaster; and her siblings, George Kennemore, Millard Kennemore, James Kennemore and Dorothy Harrison.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Lancaster (Larry) of Wingo, KY, Jerry Sanderson and Tommy Sanderson; and her brother Marvin Kennemore of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
