He was predeceased by: his siblings, Raymond West, Henry West, Howard West, Charles Joe West and Nina Sue Wright; his daughter Sharon Irene West; and his parents, Charlie West and Irene Sullins West.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Harrison West; and his daughters, Marlesa Speed (Flint) of Fancy Farm, KY, Teena Burgess (Brad) of Wingo, KY and Luella Smith (Mike) of Fort Payne, AL. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
