He is survived by: his wife Malinda Darnell Mays of Wingo; his sons, Russell Mays of Wingo and Mark Mays (Kelly) of Wingo; his siblings, Donna Baldwin (John) of Nashville, Lana Ward (Howard) of Wingo and Ron Mays (Mary) of Wingo; and his grandchildren, Teddy Mays of Lexington, Michael Mays of Wingo, Nathan Mays (Kaylan) of Richmond and Jenny Mays of Wingo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
