Joy Adams Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joy Adams of Wingo, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Wade Adams; her daughter Andrea Myatt; her parents, John R. Holland and Garnetta Dick Holland; her brothers, Jeffrey Holland and Anthony Holland; and her grandparents, Bernie, Iva Lou Sutton Dick, Noah and Addie Cash Holland.
She is survived by: her children, Kent Myatt (Tammy) of Hattiesburg, MS and Julie Moffitt (Michael) of Wingo; her grandchildren, Drew Myatt, Tanner Myatt of Gulf Shores, AL, Gracey Moffitt and Laken Moffitt of Wingo, KY; and her sisters, Cynthia Gaye McClure of McKinney, TX and Cathy Vowell of Wingo. She is also survived by several In-laws, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and special friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Wingo (6263 KY-339, Wingo, KY 42088). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
