He was predeceased by: his sister Suzie Rowland; and his parents, Aubrey Rodgers and Ruby Jean Copeland Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Lana McFadden Rodgers; and his children, Dennis Rodgers (Jennifer) of Mayfield, KY and Andrea Dowdy (Daniel) of Wingo, KY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
