He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Sue Janes; his siblings, Roxie Janes, Edward Janes and Elmo Janes; and his parents, Frank Janes and Ruby Pearl Angel Janes.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Glen Janes (Lynne) of Boaz, AL, Glenda Jean Lang (Steve) of Clinton-Township, MI, Kathy Sue Poloni (Stephen) of Taylor, MI and Marty Janes (Theresa) of Murray, KY; and his siblings, Mildred Wheeler of Mayfield, KY, Linda Workman of Wingo, KY, Frank Janes of Farmington, KY and Donald Janes of Wingo, KY. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
