He is survived by: his wife Helen Sue; his children, Dale Murphey (Jolonda) of Mayfield, Lindy Sledge (Daniel) of Franklin, KY., Bobbi Sue Jones of Wingo and Melissa Turner (Michael) of Wingo; and his grandchildren, Joe Don Cherry, Dusty Cherry, Breea Cherry, Kayley Murphey, Jesse Harmon, Hayley Peters (James), Amanda Dickerson (Matt), Bailey Jones, Chelsey Jones, Michael Dale Turner, Drake Turner and Alex Turner.
