He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Moore Ginter; and his siblings, Lester Ginter, Ed Ginter, Russell Ginter, Edna Moore and Coretta Smith.

He is survived by: his daughter Connie Rode (Ralph) of Hersey; and his grandchildren, Jason Rode (Nicole) and David Rose (Elyse).
