He is survived by: his grandson Eric Brown Hawkins; his siblings, James "Jack" Hawkins, Noble Hawkins, Mary Curry, Elizabeth Manley and Margaret Welch; his wife Lena Ginter Hawkins; his daughter Theresa Warren of Lexington, Kentucky.; his sister Ethel Bashford of Cincinnati, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Bryan Miller (Tawnya), Melonie LeRoy (Tim), James "Jim" Hawkins, Robert Brown Hawkins, II (Kristin), Joseph Hawkins (Emily) and Jessica Hawkins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
