She was predeceased by: her parent Everitt Poynter; and her siblings, Deward Poynter, James M. Poynter, George E. Poynter, Glorina Poynter Conway, Lillie Poynter Reid and Mary Magaline Poynter Levridge.
She is survived by: her husband Omar Vice Emmons of Mt. Sterling. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
