He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy White; and his sister Leona Martin. He is survived by: his children, Angela White and Christopher Todd White; his grandchildren, Brandon Mullins (Jennifer), Joshua Cornett (Mary), Elizabeth Cornett, Whitney Young (Gary) and Christopher White II (Samantha); his siblings, Lucy Jones (Neff), Della Sutton (Ernest) and Chuck May; and his close friend Willie Cole. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
