He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Claire Woodruff Miller; his mother Katherine Hubbard Jackson; his sons, Woodrow Steven Smith (Whitney) and David Benjamin Smith; his grandson Cannon Case Smith; and his siblings, June, Eugenia, Essie, Golden, Earl, Bub and Michael. He was also cherished by several extended family members and friends.
